Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CNC Turret Punch Press Operator to join our team in Garland, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC turret punch presses to produce high-quality metal components. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring precise hole punching in metal or other materials, with the potential for growth into other set-up operator positions within our manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CNC Turret Punch Press Operation: Set up and operate CNC turret punch presses to punch holes in various materials according to specifications.

  • Tool and Die Setup: Ensure proper selection and installation of dies and tools for different jobs to achieve the desired shapes and sizes of punched holes.

  • Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on the turret punch press machines, including cleaning and checking for wear and tear, ensuring that equipment runs smoothly.

  • Quality Control: Monitor the quality of parts produced to ensure they meet the required specifications. Inspect parts for accuracy, and troubleshoot any defects or issues.

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge. The role offers opportunities to expand into other types of machine set-up and operation, furthering career growth.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in operating CNC turret punch presses or similar CNC machinery is preferred but not required.

  • Strong understanding of machine operations, measurements, and basic troubleshooting.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing demands.
