Job Position: Shipping/Receiving Wkds
Location: Terrell, TX 75160
Pay Rate:$17.00/hr and up
Shift: Friday through Sunday – 7 am to finish approximately 5 pm
Description: Freezer Warehouse in Terrell is looking for a Weekend Shipping & Receiving Clerk.
Tasks:

Coordinate shipments with carriers.

Arrange equipment, loading/unloading schedule, and requirements Communicate with customers on the shipping schedule, pricing, product availability, product/shipping documentation, sample request, and loading requirements, and order confirmation. Forecast, gather, input, and coordinate inventory activity data to accurately reflect product movement, and ensure product availability for future orders/shipments.

Enter data accurately into the system for invoicing.

Compile invoice information Weekly.

Audit paperwork for compliance.

Track and trace railcar movements to ensure availability, estimate loading dates and transit times, and schedule future orders.

Maintain and update the system database.

Assist the front desk Shipping & Receiving window.

Address customer questions about products, services, orders, and inventory availability through phone, email, or chat in a timely and accurate manner.

Ensure orders are processed accurately and track shipments from the warehouse to the customer.

Provide updates on delivery status and resolve any issues that arise.

Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly, identifying the root cause of the issue and working with other departments to provide solutions.

Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s offerings, including product specifications, storage requirements, and logistics, to effectively answer customer questions.

Document customer interactions, feedback, and resolutions in a customer relationship management (CRM) system or similar software, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.

Work closely with warehouse, logistics, and sales teams to ensure customer needs are met and that operations align with customer expectations.

Proactively follow up with customers after resolving issues or completing orders to ensure satisfaction and build strong relationships.

Manage the return and exchange process efficiently, ensuring that customer requests are handled smoothly and within company policies.

Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as response time, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction scores to contribute to overall business goals.

Communicate clearly and courteously with customers at all times, ensuring that they feel valued and respected in every interaction.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum of three years of customer relations, sales, and/or order processing experience.

High School Diploma or Higher
Computer Skills: Ability to operate a computer with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and other proprietary/data entry software.
